He showed up with flowers, even from the other side

I remember the moment like it was yesterday.

It was early in my professional reading career, and a woman I had never met booked a session with me. She was getting married in two weeks and wanted to know how it would go—which, let’s be honest, always feels like a lot of pressure. But as I began to read her energy, something unexpected and sacred happened.

I felt a presence. Clear. Strong. Loving.
I paused and gently asked, “Did you have a husband who passed away?”

Her eyes welled up, and she said yes.

I told her, “Let me see if I can connect with him.” She handed me her keys so I could read them using psychometry—a practice I often use to tune into someone’s energy through objects they touch regularly.

The moment I held her keys, I saw him.
He was standing right there.

I described what I saw—his physical presence, his energy, the way he carried himself—and she confirmed it all.

Then I was shown something that stopped me in my tracks. A wooden box, clearly handmade, filled with flowers. It looked like a planter, but it held more than just plants—it held meaning, memory, love.

I asked her, “Does this mean anything to you? I’m seeing a wooden box with flowers, like it was made by hand.”

She gasped and covered her mouth.

“My husband was a carpenter,” she said softly. “He made his own toolbox, and after he passed, I turned it into a planter. It sits outside our home filled with flowers.”

Time stopped. The air shifted. Spirit was so present. He wanted her to know he was still with her, still creating beauty with her, still blessing her next chapter—even in his absence.

This was one of those readings that stays with you.
Not because of the wow factor. Not because of what I “got right.”
But because of the love that came through. The message beyond words.
Because she walked away not just with clarity about her wedding…
But with a reminder that love never leaves.

That’s the kind of work I live for.
That’s why I do what I do.
